A Sunday Afternoon In The Park

Penned 9-5-1993

Lord, I found a quiet place today, away from all the world,

None other sounds of praise I hear than the wind, and a goose giving a gurgle.

I thank You, Lord, for Your love this day, so sweet You are to me,

A love embrace You are near to my heart, a love that forever will be.

I see a yellow butterfly dancing around Your flowers divine, a leaf falls at my side,

Your wind blows on my face and hair, Your presence can not be denied.

Fall is in the air again, another year almost ended,

Time goes by so quickly, Lord, help me be obedient!

Here we are alone again, all is still and quiet,

You are my protector,  my friend, and forever will be my diet.

As I partake of Your word, and eat the bread You have set before me this day,

Teach me while I am here, O Lord, so still and quieted away.

Away with You! Away with You! I am away with You!

Away with You! Away with You! A love ever so dear and true!

Rhapsody in Bloom – Independence Day Song

Penned April 5, 1993, and on page 62 of book Lord, You Are Real

Rhapsody in Bloom

The Song of the ages in purple Majesty,

Rings true in a heart of red, white, and blue.

Red for the blood that was shed for all men,

White for the cleansing of all the hidden sin,

Blue for the wounds, setting the captives free.

Rhapsody in bloom came forth for you and me.

Rhapsody in bloom shed at the cross,

The Song of Divine Love for all the lost.

Changing of the Guard

penned April 5, 1993

Changing of the Guard

The trumpets do sound, the guard standing at the gate,

A mighty sound the trumpeters do make.

A call to arms, raising their banners high,

The Lord of all is waiting for His Bride,

Blow ye the trumpets, the trumpeters of the Lord,

The time is drawing nigh at hand for the changing of the guard.

We will usher in the King of kings, the Mighty One of God,

Give ear ye chosen seed before the changing of the guard.

Scripture Blessings for 2022

This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24

The LORD bless you and keep you;

the LORD make His face to shine upon you,

and be gracious unto you;

the LORD lift His countenance upon you,

and give you peace.

Numbers 6:24-26

Beauty Rests In The Power of The Cross

Amid the roses, Beauty Rests,

Sight unseen, foretold.

It is the scent of Heaven’s Best,

That fills the heart and soul.

A purple rose upon the cross,

His Passion from God’s own hand.

A mighty love amongst the thorns,

The Deliverer of sinful man.

Hearts forgiven, lives transformed,

The Purple Rose arisen.

New life we find when we look on high,

For the Passion God has given.

Seek first Thy Kingdom from heaven above,

Where Peace, and Love is found.

The Word, My Son, His life foretold,

Heaven’s Power shall forever abound.

Crown Him Lord of All

As an inspirational artist, I have designed five crowns which are written in the scriptures.

1.)  Crown of Glory: I Peter 5:4

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.

2.) Crown of Rejoicing: I Thessalonians 2:19

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

3.) Crown of Life: James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.

4.) Crown of Righteousness: II Timothy 4:7-8

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

5.) Crown Incorruptible: I Corinthians 9:24-25

Know you not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain. And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown: but we an incorruptible.

The five crowns spoken of in scripture are not ours to keep.

We shall lay them down at the Savior’s feet.

A Soft White Delicate Love

Penned July 30, 2020

A Soft White Delicate Love

Swirls and curls; Your clouds, molecules of condensed air suspended above,

It is Your beauty displayed for all to see of a soft white delicate love.

Yes, a display of Your beauty of white and blue,

You are God above, the One who knew.

Man needs Your touch everyday,

Thank You, Lord, for showing the way.

A cloud by day and a fire by night,

Your hand outstretched help us to fight.

Yes, fight to stand through out this land,

You are calling your children to hold onto your hand.

Your hand of true love, for man will see,

You have not left man alone, you have sent Your tree.

The Tree Of Life, Your only begotten Son,

He fought the good fight and the victory He’s won!

So look above, and see the dust of My feet,

I am seated on the throne with a love so soft, white, delicate, and sweet.
