Interview with Shannon of Tranquility Fine Arts

July 27, 2024

On July 26th, I was given the awesome opportunity to be interviewed by Shannon Barnes with Tranquility Fine Arts Gallery in Woodstock, Georgia, who awarded my art with a VIA Award~very influential artist.  The ceremony will be at a later date in August. Nevertheless, I am humbled yet grateful for this opportunity the Lord has opened to showcase the artwork He has given me.

Shannon’s theme for this VIA awards event is “How does your art bring hope.”

“My art speaks of the God of hope. Without Him we all are hopeless.”

The creativity for God emerged when I made Jesus Christ Lord of my life in 1987.

Looking back over the years, the Lord has allowed me to become a writer, a poet, a visual display artist, a visual artist, a photographer, and an author for Him.

I’m having the time of my life living for the Savior of the world!!!

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

I recently heard a phenomenal conversion testimony of Afshin Javid, a former hezbollah soldier, who said “The way is a person, the truth is a person, the life is a person and that person is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Be blessed in your journey!!

PS: Tranquility Fine Arts Gallery is a lovely art gallery on Main Street in Woodstock, Georgia, which I highly recommend you to visit.

Thank You, Lord

Author: William Cowper, “I Love My God, But With No Love of Mine.”

Written by: William Cowper.  Born November 26, 1731-April 25, 1800.

(He is regarded as one of the best early Romantic poets.)

“I Love My God, But With No Love of Mine”

“I love my God, but with no love of mine, For I have none to give.

I love Thee, Lord, but all the love is Thine, For by Thy life I live:

I am as nothing, and rejoice to be

Emptied, and lost, and swallow’d up in Thee.

Thou, Lord, alone art all Thy children need,

And there is none beside:

From Thee the streams of blessedness proceed,

In Thee the blest abide:

Fountain of life,

And all-abounding grace,

Our Source, our Centre, and our Dwelling~place.

God’s Word-The Bread Of Life

God’s word is like having a juicy steak . . . or your favorite dessert . . . or fresh baked homemade bread, warm, right out of the oven with lots of butter on it. . . So yummy!

We must eat it slow to savor the flavors of it all.

He is the spice for Life! His word~the salt that seasons the soul.

Living Stones~Jesus Rocks

March 9, 2024

Lately, I’ve been painting unique little rocks from my yard. It all started at Christmas 2023 when I made a few keepsake gifts with the rocks for family members. Then, for Valentine’s Day I found myself painting more of them for family and friends. I named them Living Stones~Jesus Rocks. Nevertheless, the  creativity has grown and blossomed! See Artwork Section on this website.

Walk By Faith

(penned April 11, 2020)

Walk By Faith

When time gives way, and there is no more,

What’s in your hand been given?

Step out in faith, it is your time,

Do not be afraid, Christ has risen.

He will be with you every step of the way,

His life in you to tell.

Be obedient, My precious child I have called,

With Me you shall prevail.

It is I~the One who holds your hand,

Over the mountain We shall go.

Keep your eyes on Me~keep looking above,

I am the One that saves a soul.

From Death to Life

From Death to Life

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart

that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart

one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.

Romans 10:9-10

Words of Life

Words of Life

16.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that

whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but

that the world through Him might be saved.

18. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is

condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only

begotten Son of God.

19. And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men

loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:16-19
