Amid the roses, Beauty Rest,
Sight unseen, foretold.
It is the scent of Heaven's Best, That fills the heart and soul.
A purple rose upon the cross, His Passion from God's own hand.
A mighty love amongst the thorns, The Deliverer of sinful man.
Hearts forgiven, lives transformed, The Purple Rose arisen.
New life we find when we look on high, For the Passion God has given.
Seek first Thy Kingdom from heaven above, Where Peace, and Love is found.

Christ was in the beginning with God. On the right side of the canvas a rainbow emerges from a living water drop cloud. Christ is the living water. Past, Present, and Future.
The rainbow behind the cross comes forth from the right onto the left arm of the cross with seven rain droplets cascading down from the clouds. Note seven rain droplets and the seven colors in the rainbow. Significant of creation. There is always a rainbow after a rain. The sun shining through the water droplets create a rainbow. The clouds flow across the brow of the cross significant of the crown of thorns that pierced Jesus' forehead. The sun shining behind the top center of the clouds, significant of the SON of God~The Word.
The Word is Divinity:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.. John 1:1
Creation: All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. John 1:3
Life and Light: In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:4
Light in Darkness: And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:5
These verses establish the Word as God Himself, the source of creation, life, and light. The darkness, representing ignorance and sin, cannot comprehend or extinguish the light of the Word.

The Scripture Rainbow is a powerful symbol of God's Covenant, God's Hope, God's Presence, & God's Promise.
It reminds us of His promises and faithfulness, and serves as a reminder of His eternal love and commitment to humanity.
Genesis 9:13
God sets the rainbow in the cloud as a token of a covenant between Himself and the earth, promising never again to destroy the earth with flood.
Revelation 4:3 A rainbow surrounds the throne of God, symbolizing His eternal covenant with humanity.
Revelation 10:1 A mighty angel comes down from heaven, clothed with a cloud and a rainbow is upon his head, signifying God's power and covenant.
Ezekiel 1:18 The appearance of the brightness around God's throne is likened to the appearance of a rainbow in the cloud on a rainy day, emphasizing God's glory and majesty.
Note: the Atomic Emblem within the pages of the written word signifies the Power of God. Within this emblem is the Star of David, a honeycomb, and a blood drop as its nucleus. Hence the Atom~Adam~Jesus being the spiritual second Adam, who knew no sin, unlike the first Adam who sinned in the garden of Eden.
Also the Power comes from His Holy Spirit who enables us to know God. Without The Holy Spirit one cannot know God. You must be born again.
John 3:5 Jesus reiterated, No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
John 3:7 Jesus said, You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again' .
Being born again is a spiritual rebirth, not a physical one. It is a gift from God, received through faith.

This art piece was created as a door decoration for EA, my place of employed at the time.
As an artist, I had never used pastels before. My subject matter for this drawing was from a Christmas card with three wise men riding on camels to find the Christ child. I began drawing, focusing on their faces. In three hours of non-stop drawing I was finished!
It amazed me how it all turned out.

On Saturday morning of July 31, 1993 I felt so compelled to get my sketch pad and pencil out to draw. I had no idea at the time what the subject matter would be.
As I began to draw the clouds, the face of the Lord Jesus came to mind. I then realized after I had finished this piece that there were twelve light beams coming from Jesus' eyes, six from each eye. I immediately thought of the twelve tribes of Israel.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7
Also, there are seven light beams coming from His mouth, significant of the seven church's written in
Revelation chapter one through chapter three.
Note: About two years later as I gazed across the room at this art piece, my eyes saw a lambs wooly face in the background surrounding the face of Jesus. The fluffy clouds make up the lambs face. There's even an open eye of the lamb on the right side between two light beams and horizontally across, on the left, is a
side-view of the other eye.
Truly amazing! The message to my heart is that Time is running out and Jesus will return in the clouds with Great Power just as He said. Acts 1:11 and

Title: 'Voice'
Date: July 31, 1993
On October 5, 2019; as I was preparing for an art exhibit, magenta (red) ink dripped onto this art piece when I was changing the ink cartridges of red, yellow, and blue from my copier. Only the red~magenta dripped from the cartridges onto this piece. I hesitated before wiping it off and left it there as a reminder of His precious blood that was shed for all.
Noted 3-23-2024: Magenta is a primary subtractive color for light; a dark purple-red color (hidden in the rainbow~Yeshua~Jesus.)
Purple for the Passion of God~JESUS, and Red for the Power of God~JESUS.
The cross is the POWER of God~JESUS the LAMB of God.
What can wash away our sins, nothing but the Blood of Jesus.
The title, 'VOICE' says it all.
He IS The VOICE and He IS The ARK, and we can run into Him and we are safe!

I must point out again that on October 5, 2019 the Red ink from my magenta ink cartridge surprisingly dripped onto this piece twenty-six years later from its original conception date, July 31, 1993. So Amazing!

3-23-2024,
I looked up the number 26.
Definition: 26 is the gematric number, being the sum of the Hebrew characters being the name of the God of Israel~YHWH~
Yahweh. Wow! Wow! Wow!
Look at God ! ! !
And note the time! 8:43 a.m. 8+4+3 equals 15, and 15 is associated with rest. The 15th day of the first Hebrew month (Nisan) it is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day of rest for the children of Israel (and for Christians). WOW !
Also, the number 14 before 15, means deliverance, and the number 16 after 15, means love.

Subject: God's heart is weeping for all mankind.
Note: When I made Jesus Christ Lord of my life in 1987, I found myself weeping for weeks and even months. I did not know exactly why all the tears? However, as days went by, I felt in my heart that these were tears of joy and tears of sadness. I am attributing those tears as a washing and a cleansing of my soul from the things of the past and for things to come~Joy unspeakable.
